DINNER WITH JOHN DOMINIC CROSSAN
On Thursday, February 2, 2012, a very special benefit evening was held in the historic lakefront home of GladdeningLight Founding Director Randall B. Robertson and wife Patricia in Winter Park, Florida. Attendees had an opportunity to meet and dine with 2012 Symposium keynote speaker and preeminent First Century Jesus Scholar, John Dominic Crossan. Also in attendance were the four Symposium artists for 2012—Cherokee carver and storyteller Freeman Owle, photo essayist Brendan Bannon, iconic painter Trent Tomengo and community choreographer Barrie Barton.
The evening’s proceeds supported GladdeningLight’s ongoing mission to celebrate the intersection of art and spirit through events, retreats and spiritual pilgrimage. Premium food and wines were presented by Arthur’s Creative Events & Catering as an Agapē meal to celebrate the Christian ideal of coming together in loving community at table.
